Childcare
At Olivet, we cherish children of all ages and welcome kids and caregivers alike to participate in our worship services. Kid-friendly activities are available at the entrances to both our worship spaces, and a brief children’s message is included in both of our Sunday morning services. Childcare for infants through children age 3 is available in our nursery at any time during all Holy Week services. Children ages 3 years through 5th grade are invited to attend Sunday School between Sunday morning services on Palm Sunday from 10:10 to 11 AM. Kids ages 3 years through 2nd grade meet in the Spark Room across from the atrium; students in grades 3-5 meet in the Club 345 Clubhouse located in the basement. Note: there will be no children’s Sunday School between services on Easter Sunday.
What to Expect
Services run approximately 60-70 minutes, and our building is fully handicap accessible. Holy Communion is open to all. At our traditional service in the sanctuary, attire is typically business casual, while our contemporary service in the Christian Life Center has a more relaxed, casual dress code. Come as you are!
Our sanctuary is located at the front of our building. Parking is available in the front and behind the building. Enter through the front sanctuary doors or through the church office entrance off the back parking lot. Music is accompanied by Olivet’s pianist/organist, choir, and handbell choirs.
Our Christian Life Center is accessible from the back of the building. Parking is available at the rear of the building. Music features modern worship songs performed by The Vine Praise Band.
Plan Your Trip
The Monroe Street bridge over US-23 may be closed for construction, but our doors are open! Olivet is still accessible via our front drive off Monroe Street. Acres Road between Monroe Street and Alexis Road remains open, providing a thruway for traffic.
