Olivet will be participating in Sylvania’s annual Fall Festival parade again this year! The parade will kick off at 1 PM at Pacesetter Park (note: the Fall Festival is at Centennial Terrace this year due to ongoing Main Street construction). Parade participants should meet at Pacesetter Park at 11:30 AM. Those interested in walking with us in the parade can sign up by clicking here, using the form below, or calling the church office at 419-882-2077. Wearing Olivet apparel is encouraged!
Parade route: Pacesetter Park > East Sylvania Metamora > South Centennial > Fossil Park
Parade Staging & Parking
Drop Off at Pacesetter Park
- Staging will begin at 11:00 AM. All participants must be checked in no later 12:15 PM as roads will begin to close after this time.
- All vehicles must enter through the Sylvania-Metamora Road entrance on the North Side of the park. We will have a parade staging sign at the entrance to help indicate where to turn and access check-in. Access for parade staging will not be available from the Mitchaw Road park entrance due to a softball tournament taking place.
- Vehicles that are not in the parade may park in Pacesetter Park, Church 3TwentyOne, Bank419, or in the Festival Shuttle Parking Lot located off of Centennial and Brint (the unofficial dog park).
- There is NO PARADE PARKING at Fossil Park as this area will be used as our parade landing zone.
- If you live close to Pacesetter Park, walking or riding your bike is encouraged!
Pick Up at Fossil Park
- You may pick up participants at Fossil Park but please note that there is NO PARKING at Fossil Park. Walking to get your parade participant is the best and most efficient option.
- Any walkers are free to take the path from Fossil Park to Centennial Terrace or back to Pacesetter Park. Please make sure your little ones have supervision and aren’t going by themselves. Thank you!
