First of all, Body Shop parents: you have great kids! I think the adult leaders in Body Shop learn as much from the kids, as they do from us.
A few weeks ago, we had the lesson of the Four Gospels. We talked about parables, disciples, and the “good news” of the Gospel to name a few of the topics.
When asked, “what is the good news?” they answered, “the Kingdom of God is coming.” They expressed their feelings about the Good Samaritan by saying “we should treat people the way we want to be treated.” Lastly, when discussing the disciples throwing down their nets, one student said, “they were brave;” another said, “they trusted Jesus and didn’t hesitate.”
At our last Body Shop, Pastor Melissa talked about the story of Ruth. She talked about family lineage and who was in Jesus’ lineage. When asked about families, one student replied, “everyone belongs no matter who they are.” I am impressed with these learners and how they are learning and growing. Thank you for sharing your dear ones with us.
