Join others from Olivet for this Northwest Ohio environmental tradition of removing trash from local waterways. Kickoff is at 8 AM at Maumee Rotary Centennial Pavillion (1025 W. River Rd. in Maumee). Cleanup will run 1-2 hours. Basic materials will be supplied; bring gloves and a “grabbing” tool if you have one. Youth in grades 8-12 are also invited to participate!
A free volunteer appreciation picnic will follow at the Lucas County Fairgrounds Arts & Crafts Center. To sign up, see the Caring for Creation Team board outside the atrium or contact Barb Stough (barbstough@gmail.com) by Sunday, September 21.
