Olivet is excited to once again participate in Better Together, a growing movement to bring faith communities together in visible, meaningful support of our LGBTQ+ neighbors. Olivet will join in walking with other communities of faith in the Toledo Pride Parade happening in August. Bring water, snacks, and prepare for the weather!

*NOTE LOCATION CHANGE* Meeting Spot: 14th and Adams (across from Toledo School for the Arts)
Be at the meeting spot by 11:30 AM to gather for a group photo at 11:45 AM! Parking downtown can be a challenge.
Parking: You may be able to find parking on side streets close to where we are gathering and/or near the end of the parade route (by Trinity Episcopal), around Mercy College, at the library, or down closer by Promenade Park where the parade will end (Superior garage is a good option) and make the walk down to the other end of Adams. Carpooling is a good option if you are able. If you want to walk, and a shorter distance is desired, consider parking at the library and joining us as we pass by during the parade!
What to wear: If you ordered a 2026 Better Together t-shirt, you may pick it up before or after worship on Sunday, August 9, from the church office the week of August 10, or the day of the parade. If you were not able to purchase a t-shirt, you are welcome to wear your green or purple shirts from the last two years. Please keep in mind that the participant list for 2026 is different from last year’s.
